Priyanka Chopra
You must be thinking “who is Priyanka Chopra?” Don’t worry, when I first heard about her I was thinking the same thing. However, after a quick Google search I was surprised to learn that she is, simply put, a HUGE megastar in the world outside of North America. Apparently Priyanka was crowned Miss World in 2000 and has since been one of the most successful and sought after stars in Bollywood; her film ‘Barfi’ is even nominated this year for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
However, it seems that Priyanka can also sing and has her eyes set on conquering the North American music scene. She is recording her debut album and has released her single ‘In My City’ TODAY! Produced by Red One and featuring Will.I.Am, ‘In My City’ is an upbeat musical tempo that features her sultry voice and Red One’s fire-hot, top-charting rhythm. I guess its not only me that feels this way, with the NFL selecting it as their theme song this season for Thursday Night Football.
If ‘In My City’ is any indication of whats to come, it looks like we will be hearing, and seeing, a lot more of Priyanka Chopra in the future!
